Not supported file format what does this mean

It means that whatever you are trying to play is not compatible with the player. It could also mean that the media you want to play is faulty, so even though it says it can play MP3 files for instance, and you are trying to play an MP3 file, it's so corrupted that it can't recognise the file as being an MP3.
Often the player requires a CODEC to play some files. If you player is the type that can accept new CODECS, such as Windows Media Player, you can get them free online by searching for "K-Lyte CODEC Packs".

Trying to move files but get message saying file types not supported, what does that mean?

You are trying to move files that are not in the format supported by your player. Your player supports only MP3 files. MP3 files are named 'songname.mp3' (without the quotes). So if you are trying to move files that do not have a .mp3 extension in their names, you get that error message.

How do I put movies on my iCoustic MP3 Player?

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the video files to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer. I have put some songs on my MP3 PLayer, but it says "Error Filename". What does that mean?

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

What do you mean by formatting mp3 player?in general what does formatting means?

Formating your MP3 player means to remove all songs/pictures/etc from your player.
Just be really careful when you format that you do not delete the files needed to make your MP3 player function.
Also format means the type of music, pictures, video's your player will recognize as in jpg,acc,mp4,etc.

When it says you can store up to 120 files, it means you can put approx. 120 pictures, 120 written files, etc. on the player...it is all according to the size of the files/pictures.

"fille system error"

If it is a certain file, or a group of files, i would delete all audio from the media player, and read the system handbook, to see all compatible files, and buy a converter to convert them the the right file format. some converters are AVI, which I would recommend. When i bought it, it was around $20. Most likely you Mp3 plays (besides MP3 format) a windows media player format, since Windows Media Player even has a sync button to download songs quickly to your audio device. If your files were in the right format, then they might have been corrupted, or invalid, meaning they had information missing, or they werent correct with the codes. So I would just re-load them.

Coby MP-C582 MP3 player

make sure what your putting on is MP3 or unprotected WMA files. If the light is blinking, then it means its playing the song, if you hear nothing, the audio is not in the correct format.
