Unable to use my w900i's phone functions, can only listen to the mp3 player
I am unable to use my w900i as a phone, but am able to listen to the mp3 player. It would switch off on it's own, as if it had some sort of virus then switch back on reset itself and would work perfectly thereafter. It has now turned off and when I switched it back on it had a blank screen, only number keys 1,2 and 9 would work without actually seeing the digits on the screen, as the screen is blank. I can recieve calls only by looking at the screen, as the phone does not ring, the word call shows on the screen. I cannot recieve or send text messages, as most of the keys on the phone do not respond. I cannot use the camera either. The funny thing is though, if I listen to the mp3 player, the screen lights up, I can scroll the playlists etc, and the screen works, but I cannot view any video files or pictures. My screen saver is a digital image which sometimes shows when I turn the phone on, but thats about it... Apart from that wether you insert a sim card or not into the phone, the network signal appears, which it shouldnt do, as there isnt a sim card... How do I fix this problem???? Please help!!!
same here, i gave my phone to my sis to listen to music, when i got it back it had the battery drained out , so i charged it when i cam back i only had the background showing with the select and info buttons none of the keypad, yet walkman works

When I try to charge my W900i the transfer files screen appears as if its connected to a USB device. When I connect it to a USB device I cannot seem to get the correct drivers installed to enable internet use through my phone. I also cannot save any new pictures taken with my camera as it's not saving them to the phone. When I check the memory it says that I have ample memory though...why is this? I connected my phone to my pc and it shows the phone memory but it doesn't connect to the PC suite. PLEASE HELP!

When i switch on my phone .sony ericsson has shown and then the screen is blank.the select and menu icons in the bottom turns to top and i cannot send sms,but ican play games ,hear music.wat is the problem.

Hi! The Nokia BH 108 headset does not have the A2DP function (advanced audio distribution profile). However, if you are using NOKIA (symbian) non-windows phone, you can play music since the phone bypass the said restriction. You may want to try other bluetooth headsets that has A2DP function so you can enjoy the musics from your headset. Thanks.
i'll be using this mp3 sony walkman about 1 month..i use it with care..today..on thaipusam day...i reopen back the mp3 player listened to the songs..cannot switch on off...and and cannot reset...all the button not functioning...do i need to throw this into the rubbish bin!!!hahahaha....i handle with care the mp3 and put in mp3 cases...and bringing where i got....i never been so brutal to mp3 and be kind to the mp3....so can u help me solve the problem...or i need to go to the center for a mp3 doctor diagnosis..hahaha.hope to hear from the listener of my problem..thanks for ur helping hands..c u soon..thanks...
thats why you cannot listen a music to your phone because you remove the SD card, besides all the music files you have is on the SD card so you will never listen to it, just return it to your phone and it will come back
i have stored all mp3 player songs in my Olympia MP3 player but unable listen to songs getting an error message NO FILE but already there are 30 songs were there in MP3 player please let me know
I had a similar problem, I could upload songs, but they wouldn't play and I couldn't delete them.
turned out it was cause I didn't have WMP10 installed on my PC, had an older version.
the user manual states it only works with WMP10, and after I installed it (just search for windows media player 10 on the microsoft website) I was able to use the synch function in WMP10 and all the songs are playable (I'm listening to an album as I type :D)
