This is normal if the ds is set to manually start games. You can set the DS to start a game automaticly and never show you the menu.

I turn on my ds green light comes on bottom screen flashes then turns off

    • 1 Turn off the Nintendo DS, and place it on the charger. Leave the device for 45 minutes to allow it to gain a full charge, and then power it back on. Weak Nintendo ds lite batteries may cause screen flicker.
    • 2 Turn off the DS, and remove all game cartridges. Turn the system back on to launch the main menu.
    • 3 Click the small sun icon to open the brightness menu. Adjust the brightness level using your stylus. Turn it up to max to improve back lighting.
    • 4 Check that the Nintendo DS is open and in the locked position. It must be open to its default position to operate properly.

How do you "Connect to nintendo wi-fi connection"

Hi there.
    • Turn on your DS and navigate to the WiFi connection settings menu. On a DSi, click the wrench icon, navigate to the third page of options and select "Internet." On an original DS or DS Lite, select "Edit WiFi Settings" from the in-game menu. The game must be WiFi compatible to access the WiFi settings menu.
    • Select "Connection Settings."
    • Choose an open connection slot, which will be indicated by the word "None" next to the connection number
    • Select "Search for an Access Point."
    • Select your wireless network from the list displayed. Enter the wireless encryption code for your network with the onscreen keyboard.
    • Select "OK" when prompted to save your settings and establish a connection with the network.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Thank you!

  3. Press the far right yellow icon. You will then be taken to the calibrate screen.
  4. Touch the small red squares on the screen as they appear.
  5. Press Confirm amd exit menu.

Ds lite to english

First, go to the Settings Menu (the small DS icon at the bottom in the main menu). Then click on the first, pink icon with a white wrench on it. Press the icon with the sphere-like shape on it. Finally, select the language you want. Press confirm and you're done!

Hope this helps!

How to i get to play two players on the Nintendo ds lite

You can play multiplayer games with a Nintendo DS Lite even if you don’t possess a copy of the game. If one of your friends has a multiplayer game card, they can use their Nintendo DS Lite as a host for the game session and you can join the multiplayer game.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); });
Things You'll Need:
  • Nintendo DS Lite
Using One Card to Host the Game
  1. Step 1 Look on the game’s packaging for the "Multiplayer" icon. If the game requires only one player to have a copy of the game, the icon will show two DS Lites: a DS Lite with a black screen transmitting waves to a DS Lite with a white screen. Below the two DS Lites is a range of numbers which indicates how many players the game can support.
  2. Step 2 Put the game card in the Nintendo DS Lite that is acting as the host for the multiplayer game session and start it up.
  3. Step 3 Have the other players turn on their systems. They will use the main menu screen to access the "DS Download Play" icon. They need to tap the icon to begin downloading the game information from the host DS Lite.
  4. Step 4 Begin playing when all of the systems have finished downloading the game information from the host.
  5. Multiple Cards for Multiple Players
  6. Step 1 Look at the "Multiplayer" icon. If every player in the game session needs a copy of the game in order to play, the icon will show two DS Lites, both with black screens, transmitting waves toward each other. A range of numbers is under this graphic and indicates how many people can play at one time.
  7. Step 2 Read the game's instruction manual on how to set up the game session. The steps required vary by company and sometimes by title within the same company.

Screen brightness

When you power up, make sure you don't have a game in to the unit. When the Menu screen comes up, there should be an icon in the bottom left corner that looks like a sun. Pressing this icon should allow you to change the brightness setting.
Hope it works!
