The repair manual recommends recording the oven temp using the on board diagnostics mode and then replacing the sensor and rechecking the temp difference. If the difference is more than 20 degrees, I believe then you leave the new sensor in. Go to the next oven and repeat the procedure. Its all in the manual. I would bet a copy of the manual alone is worth the price of admission. You failed to mention a model number so I gotta shoot from the hip my lovely:

An F&P Cooker Manual for built-in ovens

FYI: I am not a factory trained tech on these machines. I fix resturant equipment. I am just an old school tech who happens to be interested in these new fangled machines. I have these manuals on hand and as of yet have not had the pleasure of working on one. To be perfectly honest if yall can afford this monster yall should know a good man. These thangs are space shuttle over enginnered. Geez.

WE HAVE AN ELECTROLUX DD060GA DOUBLE OVEN THE TOP OVEN IS WORKING BUT THE BOTTOM OVEN DOESN`T EVEN COME ON WHEN YOU TURN THE KNOB THERES NO GAS AND NO SPARK AND THE LIGHT WONT COME ON EITHER, CAN YOU...

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Electrolux double oven, model# DD060GA, is having trouble with the bottom oven coming on. I also see that your top oven works just fine. This appears to be a UK Electrolux double oven. I suggest contacting the manufacturer directly. They will be able to better assist you in getting your bottom oven functioning correctly.

My Zanussi double oven switches off during the cooking period.

If it turns off after it has been on a while, then it could be caused by overheating due to failure of the external cooling fan.
The fan is designed to prevent the oven overheating, and failure of the fan causes a safety thermostat to operate and stops the oven from working.
You need to access the fan to check that it is working.
It is usually located at the top of the oven at the rear, and entails removing the top cover and the back cover possibly depending on the model number.
What you are looking for is a cylindrical type fan about 8" to 12" long, again depending on model.
Hope this helps solve your problem.
If you requies any nore info, please e-mail.

We have a double wall oven which is 16 years old. The top oven doesn't heat above 150 and the bottom oven is overheating...the oven said 375 and an oven temperature gauge said 450. Is this fixable or do I...

I have the same issue. Only answer I found was the elements may be burned out. The bottom oven is separate (knobs).Go to GE site and see how to adjust the thermostat (behind a knob).

Double oven. Top is digital. It has started

You have a stuck keypad or a bad electronic oven control. Try pressing all buttons at random several times each to unstick a faulty pad. If that does not work the EOC must be replaced.

Kenmore 47779 double oven; lower oven doesn't work after self clean

Sounds like a thermal overload has opened up during clean. It may be mounted on the back.

Electric double stove

Some double oven models have only one that is self cleaning. If you do not have a cleaning button for the bottom oven, it is not self cleaning. The solution is to use the top oven for those messy baking or roasting chores and use the bottom oven for the clean baking chores.
