Help HELLO I HAVE A JVC HD-ILA TV MODEL# HD-56G887 AND I HAVE NO VOLUME. I HAVE A CLEAR PICTURE THOUGH. I RECENTLY GOT A DVR BOX FROM MY CABLE COMPANY AND WAS INSTALLING IT AND DISCOVERED NO VOLUME, HOWEVER WHEN I UN HOOK THE BOX AND HOOK UP THE CABLE TO THE TV I STILL HAVE NO PROBLEM. 5 MIN PRIOR TO HOOKING UP ANYTHING I HAD VOLUME? PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE THIS PROBLEM OUT. THANK YOU.

Cannot get sound on JVC BBE D-ILA, what do I do to fix it?

Check ur DVR box setting make sure is on HDMI cable setting mode or HD setting mode.The picture will be in HD setting and the picture will be coming into tv clearly.

I`m going to help you with your setup but first;
Which connection are you using from the sat receiver to the tv?
Coax / standard rg6 cable?
Did you try to manually add(in the menu/tuner setup/find channel/add) the channel you need ?

I belive the JVC hd-ila will only output digital audio when you are on a digital source. If you tune a digital channel on antenna or cable, it should work. If this doesn't work check all the settings, you may have a hardware failure. I personally would run the line directly from the hd dvr to the stereo and take out the middle man to keep your signal as true as possible.

It's probably just your cable tuner. Verify this by piping the cable into the same tv input that you use for the x-box or DVR. If you still get the bad picture you need to contact your cable provider.

I have a Motorola DVR from Comcast. Code 051 will make all the cable functions work. Haven't figured out how to do anything with the DVR bits,

have the cable company set the box to 720p whic is the native resolution of the set.this will help with quick signal adjustment
