I have the simcity societies game which does play om my toshiba satelite p200 but some time the game keep frezzing or get stuck and i have to shut the whole pc down and re boot can you give me some advice on what to do to resolve this problems cheers

Before you attempt it, make a couple of changes in the BIOS to hopefully work around a few problems that might crop up. At reboot, tap the F2 key to enter setup that will allow you to make a change in the BIOS. Disable caching module before you change the drive sata settings. Set the hard drive to "ATA compatible."
It is simple... You will have to go in the Program Files folder, and find the SimCity 4 folder, and then look for the file that you start the game with. This can easily be found by right clicking on the icon that the game created in your start menu or desktop. Click properties and then click Find Target. Now, when you have the file, right click on the file and click properties. Then click on the Compatability tab and click Run this program in compatibility mode for: and choose what you want. Click apply and ok. Then try it...
Do you have shared ram on your laptop?, i mean if the graphic card use the same ram as systems then the ram will be shared between graphic and system, however to get the good result the 512 won't be enough try 1gb to get good performance.
All the info i can find Maxis SimCity 200 states system requires Windows 95. If you REALY want to play the game, try making your system a dual OS machine with your existing XP and Win95
