Alarm clock my alarm clock is going off in silent, tried everything????

    Nokia 1100 alarm sound problem



    hi i am using nokia 1100 which dont have any speaker function.the ringtone and msg tone are working fine but not the alarm which is working but no sound..

    any solution?

    I have exactly the same problem. Changed profile and done everything possible except reset. Help!

    Does the speaker phone function work on your phone as I think they use the same speaker?
    If the speaker phone doesn't work any more either than this may have failed and needs to be repaired.

Also, can't set the alarm clock on the phone.

Then go to Tools> alarm clock>new alarm> name>enter time for alarm to ring>select alarm alert tone> set volume..

I have the gpx c208b digital clock radio. I recently set an alarm on it and it has been repeating everytime the time is near. i want to know how can i get it to turn off unless i personally set it myself....
This clock radio has a switch at back marked "Auto/Off/On".

The 'on' position is the one you move the switch when you want to listen to the radio. The 'off' is the one you move it when you want your radio to be silent. And 'auto' is the one move to when you want the alarm to sound when the time reaches the hour you set it for waking up.

So, you must leave this switch in the 'off ' position all the time to keep the radio and alarm silent and move it to the 'auto' position whenever you want the clock to sound the alarm at the time you previously set it up.

the phone enters silent mode when you hold down the # key for 5 seconds. Hold this key to enter and exit silent mode.

I want to change it so there are no key pad tones. also, i'd like my alarm clock to be on the right hand corner of my screen, not the web2go button...
Go to settings on your phone menu and go to sound and change key pad tones to silent or none or volume zero then for the buttons go to shortcuts and on the right soft key change from web to alarm clock! if not then this setting may not be available on your phone.

Having alarm clock sound even in vibrate mode
It is not possible to sound alarm in vibrate mode, but by going into master volume and setting it to sound alarm only, the alarm sounds in silent mode.

I just "personalised" the outdoor profile to set the message alert to silent, while still keeping the ring volume on high.
I also picked the divert call option so the phone doesn't ring.
So I just change the phone profile before I go to sleep and divert my calls.
Kind of an awkward solution..I'm considering getting an alarm clock or just using my old phone's alarm clock
