Acer aspire 5100-3583 boots, screen is on, but

Hi. My Acer 5536 is not start & the screen is seems block, also the hard light is not working. Only set start light is shinning. What wana do?

hope system got crashed.... Please install your laptop/pc by formating or by chaing you booting device option.... it you are booting with cd then change your option to CD drive as first booting device so that your system may work or you can install new OS..... to your PC/Laptop

Did you try to start it with the battery removed from the pc?

Try taking the battery out and booting it on AC power only, if it boots up turn it back off and reinsert the battery, turn the computer on, if it boots up all good, if not please post back.

TRY BOOTING FROM A SYSTEM DISK , IF THIS DOESN'T WORK YOUR RAM MAY NEED TO BE CHECK TO SEE IF ITS FUNCTIONING PROPERLY

There must be a connection problem from monitor to pc, check the pins to see if any are bent in the plug to the pc. If it is a seperate graphics card, check that it is seated correctly in the agp (brown) slot and not come loose. Try booting in safe mode (F8) on boot and select boot Windows in safe mode(this will run pc with normal vga driver and not the graphics driver), and see if it stays on, if it does it is a graphics card driver fault, so re install.
