I need to know how to get my music from my computer on to my playlist on my phone

What kind of phone is it?
If it's an android, you can transfer music by simply connecting your phone to your computer with a cable.
If you're on an iPhone, you may need iTunes installed on your laptop. Of course, a 3rd party tool can also help.

As with much to do with the iPhone, there's a bit of a trick to getting this working smoothly so you can have control over your iPhone music, while keeping it as darn easy to work with as possible. The answer? Create a custom playlist for your iPhone music library.
Let me show you how to do it - it's pretty darn easy.
Pop into iTunes and choose File --> New Playlist. Now rename it to something logical: I use "iPhone Sync":


Now you can just drag and drop music from your iTunes library (in iTunes, needless to say) into this new playlist. When you're ready, you'll see a bunch of music happily ensconced in the playlist (remember, it's all just "pointers": the actual music files are still safely in the main music library, so if you delete something from a playlist , you haven't deleted the original music file itself):

At the bottom of the iTunes window it shows you how many songs are in the playlist, along with the size and total playing time.
At this point, you need to plug in your iPhone if you haven't already done so. It'll pop up the usual summary screen:

Now click on the "Music" tab and you'll see that you can select "sync playlist". Do that, then select the new iPhone sync playlist you've created

Set things up and that's all there is to it. Now click "Sync" in iTunes and it'll synchronize your playlist with the iPhone music library and next time you click on that ole' "iPod" button on the iPhone, your selections from you music library will be present.
Oh, and one really nice feature of creating this playlist is that you can manage it, adding and deleting songs to your heart's desire, even without your iPhone present. Whatever changes you make are instantly applied to your iPhone music library the very next time you synchronize the device. Suddenly even 8GB might feel small. :-)

If you format your memory card thru phone,it will automatically install system files and folders to your memory card.

Songs or playlist should be in "my music" files then after loading music,go to the playlist and refresh it. to be able to update your music coming from the memory card.

The easiest way is to open iTunes on your computer, and delete the song from iTunes.

Next, sync your phone. This will remove the song from your phone

check those folders

1. Open iTunes. Open the Edit menu on Windows or the iTunes menu on a Mac. Click the "Preferences" option. Make sure the "Disable automatic syncing for all iPhones" check box is selected.
2. Plug your iPhone into the computer and wait for iTunes to recognize it. Click on your iPhone's icon on the right side of the iTunes window. Click the "Music" tab.
3. Select the music you want to sync to your iPhone using playlists. You can also select the option to sync all your music to the iPhone.
4.Click "Sync" when you're done customizing your settings.

When you put them on your card they are just that on your card (may not show up on your playlist) Some phones (like my blackberry and pocket pc) you have to add them to the card then go directly to the memory card to play them from your phone. There should also be an option to add your songs from the memory card to your playlist. Try selecting the memory card (through your phone) and checking the options to see if one says ad to playlist. If not do the other way around. Go t your playlist and add songs (from the SD card) if should ask you from where and you can select the memory card. All else fails you can go to any cell phone store and they can do it (its easier to do it looking at the phone then over the pc...smile)

You need to create a playlist for the iPhone. This isn't intuitive and I don't know why it's this way. It works great, there just isn't anything explaining what to do. This seems to snag Windows users the most. Maybe Mac users are already used to doing things this way? I don't know.

Below is a picture of my iTunes. Look down in the lower-left corner and see that my playlist is highlighted. At the very bottom-left corner you can click the plus sign to create a new playlist. Then drag all of the music you want to the playlist. Finally, in the music tab of your iPhone, make sure you click the playlist you just made to sync all music on that list to your phone.

This will do the trick.

There are two procedures for transerring Music form PC to Cell Phone.

First, pairing your Computer and Cell Phone with Bluetooth

Second, connected your Cell Phone directly to Computer via Data Cable and selecting Mass Storage.

With both the above procedures you can transfer music to your Cell Phone.

Check whether you have the required music player to run the song you have downloaded . If not get a player which can run it.
