Hello. i have a compac presario f700 notebook pc. it works like a dream when i connect online via wireless connection. but whenever i plug in an ethernet cord, it says limited connection and i cant get online. how can i get online using an ethernet cord?

iTunes
Install and plug your iPhone to laptop .
Now open iTunes it will sync iPhone automatically

Sounds like its the fan . The more demand you place on the system makes it run hotter so the fan speed automatically increases to compensate

Update The Driver At Compaq.com Then Chek Again If It still Does not Work?

You need to check if your wireless adapter is on by going to device manager and looking for wireless adapter etc,assuming you are using a windows o/s. You also need to check if you have switch on the adapter manually as many laptop provide a button or manual key to put it off for power efficiency reasons..Hope this helps and rate my answer.Thanks

it will not untill you install Microsoft UAA high definition driver, you can download it here http://rapidshare.com/files/124178667/kb888111.exe

and then install sound and modem driver and if it still don't work then make sure you are not installing XP with service pack3 included.
