i'm having the same problem!!!!!!!!!!! how frustrating.

I somehow turn my speakerphone ON when i pick up the phone, and then I can't figure out how to turn it OFF. This is a real design flaw--it should not be that easy to accidentally hit speakerphone ON. and it should be simpler to figure out how to turn it OFF!!

All I am hearing about at relatives homes, work, all over the internet and now on television is the program at http://penniesonthedollar.net Being a professional researcher I decided to do some homework and find out about this program and behind the scenes of this program. The company who is a registered business since 1977 has been developing programs to assist people in saving money in all aspects of their life for the past 12 years. Paypal has reviewed their documents and offers a guarantee for their products. Evidentally the company has developed/refined the programs that they have been researching and have come up with what is supposed to be the all inclusive savings program which allows you to make drastic savings with your grocery orders (between 60%- 70%) and receive valuable restaurant savings and freebies as well. I also checked them out with the BBB where dating back to the beginning they have only had 2 complaints filed and both of those complaints were immediately resolved to the customers satisfaction. It appears that the company has served in excess of 985,000 customers over that stretch of time. So I decided to join and check the program out and this is how I realized why this thing is spreading like fire. It took about 7 days for me to receive my sampler package in the mail and ever since becomming a member some 4 months ago, I have been saving more money at the supermarket than I could have ever imagined. I am literally paying pennies on the dollar for everything. This certainly is the most effective program I have ever researched!

Yeah, its an annoying problem. The RAZR's interface is not at all intuitive. Thanks for the instruction, Best.

Click the upper button on the left side of the top flap of the phone, hold it down, and wait for the message signaling that it's off.

Have you done a full master reset and clear try that and if it does not work them you should have the phone replaced....could be a mainboard error.

Why does my microphone stops working?

It probably has something to do with the most recent automatic software update. You might try turning the volume down and then back up while the feature is in use. For example, when I make or receive a call, I touch the Speakerphone icon and then immediately turn the volume down one level and then back up. The speaker/microphone works normally then. It will be better when Motorola issues a new software update that fixes the problem, but, as workarounds go, it's not too terribly difficult to do.

Yes, This phone does have a speaker phone setting.

When in a call it should be the top right button on your keypad.

Speaker phone

During a call the speaker phone button is usually the right soft key (Top right of your keypad). If it isn't then you need to hit the top middle button while in a call and select speaker phone.
I hope this helps.

Receiving calls

Probably the speaker's problem, go to the store where you purchased the phone, and tell them your problem, they will probably replace it for you and you'll be fine. Good luck.
