    I have this same model of Laptop which was initially installed with Vista when I bought it. I was forced to remove the Vista and install Windows XP



    Now I can't catch wireless connection and from time to time, the mouse pad (when using fingers) tends to stuck....especially each time I close windows media player. Also, the screen brightness is not soo goo.



    I would like to be assisted on the issue of wireless connection

Wireless will not connect
Download a Ubuntu Live CD and try to connect to the internet. If that works, then you have a driver problem. Try updating your wireless driver for toshiba by searching toshiba drivers. find your model and download the correct driver and reinstall it.

If Ubuntu doesn't even get internet, then you have an hardware problem. Wireless cards don't usually die, so it's probably overheating. so prop open your keyboard and clean the wireless card instructions here: http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/toshiba-satellite-a135/remove-mainboard-1.htm
