Want to burn a CD from USB of my avant grande performance

I recorded my performance on a USB from the memory of my avant grande. What is the best way to burn a CD from the USB on my Mac? (I used Garage Band, but the avant grande piano sound cannot be duplicated.)

The best way is to copy the audio file from the USB drive to the MAC and then burn the audio file onto the CD using the MAC, provided the MAC has a CD Writer and a burning program.

Bounced trks 3&4 to 7&8 clicked on wav file button canceled says out of capacity

You have a memory problem. If you are using a flash card for memory or a CD drive or perhaps you have configured an external drive, you need to free up some space. Try deleting tracks or songs you don't need anymore.

Each song is independent on a CompactFlash
without affecting other songs. You can give a desired song name for managing recorded songs
(see pages 23 and 91).
Recorded track data is stored in a song as mono WAV files.
The MR-8mkII can convert the two WAV files recorded on tracks 7 and 8 (L and R) to a stereo
WAV file (see page 115).
You can export the converted stereo WAV file to your USB-connected personal computer, and
use the file by a music software application or make an original audio CD on the computer using
a CD burn software application. You can also burn an audio CD by using an external CD-R/RW
drive connected via the [USB HOST] port of the MR-8mkII (see page 115 and 123)

Transfer digital recording to computer to make CD

As there is no USB port on this IC Recorder, you can connect the Headphone OUT of the IC Recorder to the LINE IN of the Computer. Then, use any Sound Recorder Software to capture the files. You can also use the Sound Recorder Software preinstalled in the Computer. After transferring the recordings to the Computer, you can use any CD Burning Software to burn the files to a CD.

I NEED A DRIVER FOR A KINGSTONDATA TRAVELER MEMORY STICK ON THE USB PORT. IM RUNNING A SPECIAL SEWING MACHINE APPLICATIO ON WINDOWS 98 BUT THE USB PORT DOES NOT SEE THE MEMORY STICK. Motherboard Compact MS...

Unfortunately, there are no drivers available for windows 98. Most of your memory sticks will not work on windows 98. Your best bet is to burn your files on a CD and use that instead.

Burning DVD

Impossible, since your device _reads_ CDs/DVDs, but does not _write_ either CD nor DVD.

Do you have a USB memory-stick (holding 4Gbytes) ?
If so, copy the files to the memory-stick,
and take the memory-stick to your friend's computer,
presuming that his/her computer has a DVD-writer.
That DVD can be _read_ on your computer.

How do you burn a cd on the travelmate 290 ?

Windows XP CD Copy Windows XP has CD-Recordable (CD-R) disc burning support for most CD writers.
8b118c9.gif First set your CD-recording options:
  • Open "My Computer"
  • Right-click your CD-R drive and select "Properties". See figure BK-1.
  • Select the "Recording" tab (if this tab isn't available, your device doesn't support CD burning).
  • Check the box to "Enable CD recording on this drive".
  • Select the drive to hold the temporary files (before the system burns a CD-R disc, the system writes the files to be recorded to an intermediary area - this area must have enough free space to hold an entire CD's content).
  • Select the CD recording speed (Fastest, 4X, 2X, and 1X).
  • Select whether to eject the media after recording.
  • Click OK.

Perform the following steps to record to a CD-R:
  • Insert a blank CD-R disc into your CD burner.
  • Copy or drag the files or folders to be recorded to the CD-R drive, or right-click on the files or folders and select Send To, Writable CD.
7f66e80.jpg
  • After you have copied all the files, select the CD-R drive from "My Computer" and you'll see the waiting files as "Files to add to the CD."
  • Right-click the CD-R drive, and select Write to CD.
  • Enter a name for the CD-R disc, and click Next.
  • The files will be written to the CD-R disc.
  • After the system writes all the files, it will eject the CD-R disc (if you chose that option above).
  • Click Finish.

Opening a memorex cd

It is always possible the person has even less knowledge of burning than you do... And they may have not done it correctly. There are a few different possibilities, of which may not be good for you. The best way for the files to be retrieved, is to put it back in the other PC and try to open. If the person did an open write ( didn't close out the disk ) You need to have a PC, writer/reader, and software that can open it up... Also, in a few rare instances, the drives have slight differences that the 2 can't read disks that are created by the other... There is also a slight possibility that the person went through the motions, and actually burned nothing. And finally, the CD Drive you have may be shot... Try another cd, and make sure that your drive works...
