Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console

1 Answer

My daughter spilled water onto the touch screen of her two-day old DS Lite. The screen has obvious water in it and won't read the game card. Can't get it apart because no screwdriver will fit anything! Any suggestions???

My DS Lite went through the wash one time. Luckily it didn't go through the whole cycle. It didn't work right away, for the next three days actually. But on the third day it did start working. I didn't have any calibration issues on the touch screen, thank god, but the L and R trigger buttons stopped working. Luckily, I only play Pok'emon, so it didn't hinder me too bad. But yeah, just give it time.

My daughter spilled water on her nintendo dsi. I won't turn on

Let it dry for 2 days, DO NOT charge it, maybe it will turn on of the components get completely dry. If not take it to a service center there's not much to do.

Nintendo DS Lite

I'm not to familiar with the DS's but i beleive that is how they are supposed to boot if a cartridge is already in the unit. If not then there may be an option when booting without a cartridge where you can change the settings so that it will boot to the main DS screen before booting the game. I would check this first then seek further help from a more adequate expert on here.
