Better to get a Facsimile Remote, a copy made for the unit. It is unlikely, you can input codes to work both applications in a combined set.

dish network remotes dont work with very many tv/vcr or tv/dvd combo units

i found that 0178 works for my 19 inch.

I have the same problem as well. I bought 3 different remotes and not one will work with the tv. Although all 3 gave Trutech codes (1116, 1504, and 1713).
