It hasnt linked to the satellites yet...make sure its fully charged, then slide the switch to the off position for 15 seconds, then power it back on and take the unit outside in clear view of the open sky and wait until the satellites lock on.

you can tell when the satellites are linked by the bar at the top in the main menu area..you need atleast 3 green bars for it to aquire your position.

I have a 1999 Mitsubishi montero and i bought it used the gas gage will not go to full when i fill it up and when it dose move it only gose to quarter tank mark and rarely. Gose to half tank mark

Sounds like a bad float or weak gauge.you can always use the miles trip to predict how much fuel you have left in cases like these the trip can be your best friend.have someone experienced change the float in the tank then if not float change gauge but like i said someone that knows what they are doing if not they can mess the entire dash up and short alot more than you would think out so try float or gauge if it has over 150k miles its probably the float.

When using my garmin to track exercise while on my stationary trainer, the Garmin does not record any speed or distance. I do have the cadense sensor installed and all of this seems to work fine when using...

The garmin works off of a GPS signal. If you are not moving, the GPS signal doesn't pick up any movement . . . .because you are not really moving. m Therefore, the speed and distance is nil.

Pin is locked

Well what is your PIN number? You had to have set it for it to ask tou for a PIN. If you don't remember your PIN go to the location where you set it and it won't ask you for the PIN. From there you can remove the PIN or change it to another number.
