My computer is telling me that my x9350 is not compatible with windows vista...Is that true? Or is there a way that i can change that?
I just bought a new computer operated by vista as well..then found out that any printer older than 7 years will not work with this system. Now I have to go out and purchase a new printer too. I think these sales people should know and at least mention these facts before letting you out the door with a new computer.

If you have the installation disc, insert it into your hard drive. Follow the instructions on your computer screen. If you don't have the disc, please visit the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/jwG67O. Download the driver (Note: use Vista driver in Windows 7.), execute the file and follow the instructions on your computer screen.
Creator 2010 requires a minimum of Windows Vista Service Pack 1 for
installation. You can either perform a Windows Update
(recommended) or install Service Pack 1 for Vista here.
Installing on a Windows 7 computer
The issue might be caused by the Creator 2010 setup package running in
Windows Vista compatibility mode on Windows 7. Please use the following
steps to turn off Vista compatibility mode for the Creator 2010 setup
Right-click on the setup package and choose Properties.
Click on the Compatibility tab in the Properties window.
In the Compatibilitymode section, uncheck the
box that is labeled Run the program in compatibility
mode for Windows Vista.
unfortunately there is no way around it as the software is not compatible with vista and wasn't designed for vista, i had a similar old software installed fine with vista but this is not true for most of them
