Not compatible with windows vista

My computer is telling me that my x9350 is not compatible with windows vista...Is that true? Or is there a way that i can change that?

I just bought a new computer operated by vista as well..then found out that any printer older than 7 years will not work with this system. Now I have to go out and purchase a new printer too. I think these sales people should know and at least mention these facts before letting you out the door with a new computer.

Office Jet T45 not compatible with Vista operating system. Are there any drivers that will allow me to use this printer with Vista?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem here...unbelievable, and what a waste. There is NOTHING wrong with this printer, just happened to purchase a new PC with Vista. If I end up having to purchase a new printer, it will NOT be an HP - that's the only way I can make a statement. Also, I'm considering installing a previous version of Windows...isn't that ridiculous??? But I have heard from more than one friend who does not recommend Vista, stating that ths version contains obvious "tricks" like this, to encourage more upgrades (more spending!) on new products by just making the old stuff obsolete...what a scam, and what a waste.

I bought an HP laptop and was told my HP T45 All in One Printer doesn't have a driver that works with Vista

  • Anonymous Jun 27, 2008

I'm so mad! I can't believe that Vista doesn't even have drivers for certain printers that XP has. I just bought a brand new XPS for my work and we have a HP Designjet 650C plotter that we HAVE to use but vista won't support any drivers. And I wasn't even allowed the option to get XP because now even that is discontinued. There HAS to be a way around this problem. Maybe if i add it to someone elses computer that has XP and then shared the printer? but would i have to have the driver for vista still to use it form my computer? this is so frustrating. I cant believe Microsoft would screw us over this big.

Take the Deskjet 500 driver and you can use the print function, but only to print black and white documents!

How do i set up my lexmark x9350 all in one fax machine to my computer so it can work.

If you have the installation disc, insert it into your hard drive. Follow the instructions on your computer screen. If you don't have the disc, please visit the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/jwG67O. Download the driver (Note: use Vista driver in Windows 7.), execute the file and follow the instructions on your computer screen.

My laxmark x9350 and vista

The drivers are sadly meant for XP. As of now, I don't think there are Vista drivers that can actually work.

I'm sorry!

Please let me know if this helps. Good luck!

Trying to load American Greetings CreataCard Platinum 7 on my computer with Vista windows and when it gets to true type fonts it stops and won't load. Can you tell me what is happening?

This software will need to be ran in compatibility mode as it was designed for Windows XP and will not work properly on Vista without running it in compatibility mode. Follow Microsoft's instructions here:

Hi Name is Joe.

Resolution

Installing on a Windows Vista computer

Creator 2010 requires a minimum of Windows Vista Service Pack 1 for installation. You can either perform a Windows Update (recommended) or install Service Pack 1 for Vista here.

Installing on a Windows 7 computer

The issue might be caused by the Creator 2010 setup package running in Windows Vista compatibility mode on Windows 7. Please use the following steps to turn off Vista compatibility mode for the Creator 2010 setup package:
  1. Right-click on the setup package and choose Properties.

  2. Click on the Compatibility tab in the Properties window.

  3. In the Compatibility mode section, uncheck the box that is labeled Run the program in compatibility mode for Windows Vista.

  4. Click OK to save the changes.

  5. Re-run Creator 2010 the setup package.
