Caller I D doesnt work line to house is good batteries are new

Do you have caller ID service from your phone co.?

I have a problem on a Panasonic two line handset phone that when one line is plugged into a VoIP line, it makes the caller ID not work for the other line. After going back and forth with Verizon, we finally figured this out. I haven't figured a workaround. And in my old house I used to have a VoIP line and a FiOS line and it worked. So either something has changed or the difference between FiOS and regular copper line from Verizon is making the difference. [email protected]

sounds like the chipset in your phone is faulty. if you did'nt get it wet or use alcohol.

Log into your TalkSwitch Management Software.
Go to Telephone Lines.
Under each incoming line make sure that Caller ID is checked.
Click File> Save

Not sure why this worked, but I went to the Menu and the Set Area Code selection. The area code setting was blank, so I entered my area code and saved it. Caller ID started to work again. As a test, I went back to the Set Area Code selection and deleted the area code and saved it. It is currently still working. Seems really odd, but it worked for me.

This Telephone doesnt have a capability to work with shared connections where u use more than one phone in one connection.......... And this phone cannot be charged it works in either battery or Adapter...... Good Luck......

For people who have purchased cordless phone in usa and caller id is not working they should purchase fsk to dtmf converter at any local phone shop and caller id will start working.

There are 3 major caller ID specifications in the world: DTMF, ETSI FSK and Bellcore FSK. When users buy a foreign telephone devices(such as cordless phone, fax machine or computer telephony interface), may encounter the problems of non-match for caller ID standard. This will cause the device unable to display the caller ID. EX220 can solve this problem easily. This product can receive all 3 kinds of caller ID format, and convert to FSK(Bellcore or ETSI selectable) to match foreign telephone's standard.
EX220 has a rechargeable battery inside the device, during idle status, it gets power from the telephone line and recharge the battery, so no need to use or replace battery. Just plug one end to telephone line, and the other to the telephone device.
For example, if you live in Netherlands, Saudi or India, the caller ID standard is DTMF. You purchased a cordless caller ID phone from US(which uses Bellcore FSK standard), or from Germany(which uses ETSI FSK standard). You won't be able to use the caller ID feature. How to get the caller ID to work on the additional GE DECT phone handsets. You must follow these steps in the exact order :
#1 - unplug the base phone
#2 - unplug the telephone line from the base phone
#3 - remove the battery packs from the phones
#4 - wait 10 minutes. reverse the order when assembling. Put battery packs in phones, put the telephone line back in the base phone and lastly plug all phones back in.
It takes about another 10 minutes after that before all phone handsets start recognizing caller ID.

there are a very small capacitor in the board that produce low battery mesege when it get damage, but you gona need a tech to repair your phone there are another problem in your phone its not a seting problem...good luck
