this problem & restart problem is very common for 3110c,temperorily it can be fixed by changing the memory in use ,but for permanent fixing format the memory card ,if continuous with ame format the cell,hopefully formating the memory card will solve the problem
your card may need to be formatted for use in the phone. The phone supports FAT32 file system go to Menu - Tools/Setting - MemoryCard - Options - Format Mem Card and click YES

Please try to format the memory card using a memory card reader on computer and then insert the card back in phone, it will say corrupted again, but now you try again to format it from phone and it should work now,,.....
