Question about Toshiba Satellite P35-S611 Notebook
I just reinstalled the OS and software on my laptop as I had sold it to a friend out of state. When he got the laptop he said the ROM drive was not working. When you look in the My Computer, Device Manager or BIOS there is no ROM drive that shows. Before I sent it out it worked as I was installing software from disks. I look in the system logs and it has a DVD ROM error device cable unplugged, but not sure how a cable inside a laptop comes unplugged. I am not sure if the ROM is just shot or if there is something I am missing. I have taken the computer apart before all the way down to the board so if I need to replace it I can.
Push it out or cheak litte cable ther is a cable one it have to take it apart
