Contact the satellite radio company and ask them to perform an update to the radio.
This exact issue happened to 4 of our vehicles within a 60-day period and having them perform an update resolved the issue in every case.
same this happned to me in my 2006 sentra. the volume for the radio is gone. i can tune, its just barely audible/ quiet. weirdly though it sounds perfect when playing CDs. i almost thought maybe it got switched in to mute mode or something. did you figure out your problem?
Does it do this on all radio stations? Some stations don't broadcast that information, some do. Also there may be an info button somewhere on the radio, try pushing that to see if it comes up.
You have a failed output section inside the radio. If you remove the radio, and take it apart, you will see some burnt capacitors at the very back side of the PC board. This is, unfortunatly, a very common problem with those cars. You are going to have to get another radio, the expense for the manufacturer to fix is is more expense than a replacement. Sorry, but I have seen this situation too many times.
OK you have mistaken this player for a player you can plug in an MP3 Player into .....This is an MP3 player that plays MP3 CDs you burn off your PC ... so it will only play MP3 CDs!!! about search problem I don't have a fix but just manually adjust stations then program them to your buttons.
