RHEEM OIL FURNACE MODEL ROBD 067 LBEA BLOWER NEVER SHUTS OFF. THE BURNER LIGHTS THE BLOWER STARTS BUT THE ONLY WAY TO SHUT THE BLOWER OFF IS TO TURN OFF THE 120 VOLT SWITCH FOR 15 OF 20 MINUTES. THE FURNACE WILL KEEP IT AT TEMP BUT THE BLOWER NEVER STOPS. ALL 4 ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED BY MY DEALER WITH NO LUCK. THE THERMOSTAT HAS BEEN TRIED. THE FURNACE HAD A-C IN MY HOUSE BUT NOW IS USED FOR HEAT ONLY IN MY SHOP. IT IS 4 YEARS OLD. I WENT TO GAS IN THE HOUSE.

You will likely need to install an isolation relay in the W circuit from the thermostat. Some thermostats rob a small current through the W circuit to power the thermostat. This small current can be enough to start the fan circuit timer. You can test this by disconnecting W at the furnace and allowing the timer to shut down. If the fan shuts off with the W disconnected you can install a simple relay.

The relay coil will be connected to Common on one side and the W from the thermostat to the other. Then you will run a wire from R on the furnace to the relay and from the N.O. Contacts to the W terminal on the furnace. This will kill that signal that is starting the timer and the W can steal it's power through the coil back to common.

So you turn up the thermostat, the burner ignites, the burner burns for 30seconds or so and then it shuts off. The blower never comes on. It sounds like a bad blower motor or the timer on the solid state control board is defective. On your thermostat do you have a switch that says fan on fan auto? If you do, turn it to fan on. Does the fan come on. If the fan comes on then I would be inclined to think that the blower motor is ok and the control board is defective.

I would be looking at the heat exchanger. They are designed to have the heat from burnt fuel flow thru them. Cracking or pin holes will let the super heated air into the furnace interior and in there you have some over heating protection some look like buttons, older they look like an external thermostat, and these get the hot gas from the burners and trip then the furnace shuts down. When the furnace comes on again some times the blower will come right on because the sensor says hey this thing is hot when in fact it isn't. This also can and if bad enough will cause carbon monoxide poisoning, please inspect this closely or have a professional look at this. There is no price ever to great to replace a human life.Sorry probably not the answer you wanted but better safe than sorry!

Flame sensor needs to be cleaned. turn off the furnace power switch or breaker. pull the flame sensor located in the burner runner section of the furnace. It will be easy to locate because it has 1 wire running to it. pull the screw being very careful not to harm anything else. get the sensor out. inspect it for cleanliness. clean the sensor with light grade sand paper gently. re-install the sensor plug the wire back on. restart your furnace and this should fix the problem.

My Rheem Corsaire furnace is short-cycling. It ignites, the burners stay lit the fans run for a while then the burner shuts off, the fans run until the cooling oft temp is reached then shut off. Right away...
Try blowing air thru the pilot tube. You may have a spider web in the burner tube.

Get it looked at quick, before your exchangers crack, because the furnace not cooling them down after operation will lead to failure, and the replacement is not cheap, close to the cost of a new unit.
