Our sony bravia 52 inch goes into a one third screen view to the left with a bright green line on the right. Powering off and on solves the problem, but this has happened at least twice. It's only about a week old.

Hi,
Problem sounds with t-con board that is part of lcd panel (screen).
Since its a week old so must be under warranty, ask Sony for warranty cover or get replacement from Store there it was purchased.

52" Sony Bravia TV has a thin Blue line down left

A line on an LCD screen can be cause by the screen itself going bad or the T-con board. The T-con board the attached to the screen on the backside and covered by a heatshield. If you get teh part number from it you can find it online from one of the many retails that might have it. Like www.interliquidparts.com

I have a 46 inch Sony Bravia 46 XBR4 set. The right side went out only colored lines appear. The rest of the screen is fine. email address [email protected].

Sounds like the tcon (timing control) board. Sometimes unplugging the LVDS cables from the tcon, cleaning and reconnecting solves this. The catches on the LVDS cables are easily damaged and must be handled carefully.
