It's not necessarily the power board. 10 blinks is the Miscellaneous error code. Your TV knows something is wrong, but isn't sure what it is. It can be any number of things, including bad boards. Mine, personally, was multiple bad boards.

If the power board blinks 4 times, you have to replace the Power Supply. Average charge for this kind of repair $370 to $510 Labor and parts.

good luck

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

Problem with Sharp XR-10X The power light blinks red

According to the manual, a red blinking light indicates that the lamp cover is open. Try reseating the lamp and making sure everything closes up right. If the light is still blinking, it is most likely a problem with the projector itself and you may need to find out about getting it serviced.

If you apply the 50% repair/replace rule, it's time to replace rather than repair.

Just replaced bulb when cold it has trouble lighting.

it's not the lamp, it's the ballast. when it's fully discharged, it needs too much power to start. once it has the caps charged (when it's been running and warm), it'll start right away. it sounds as if the capacitors on the ballast are drying up. best to replace the ballast. after you do, make sure the projector is free of dust and dirt. excessive dust will cause premature power and lamp failure due to lack of cool down.

Sharp xr 10x

You will need to open it up and flip this little breaker switch. It has gotten to hot and tripped itself. Dust it out while you are in there.
