I was watching it the night before every thing was fine, next morning the picture was very dark and adjusting brigthness or contras make no differecne
Does the TV have a light sensor? If so, turn it off.
The light sensor limits the backlights intensity at night or when it's dark in your room in order for better vieweing convenience.
If you are in a dark environment, it really pains your eyes when the view is too bright. Same works the other way around. If it's day, and light in your room. The light sensor will dimm the backlight for it isn't needed.

Hmm, that's odd. Seems like a hardware based defect to me. I really don't know what this is. I figured there might be a problem with a light sensor (if the TV has one) because of the changes at various times of day.
I think you'd best consult the technical support department of Hitachi on this matter. Or maybe someone else over here.

no it's not the sensor the has now gone total dark. 5 to 10 mins. to show some what of an image. sorry wrong seriel number it's 53 sdx01b
