There is a Typical Defection Board N/S error, needs to be repaired. Go to local Repair shop to repair/adjust.

I have a 51 inch magnavox projection tv, the color started with a blue tint but now the red and green has gotten weird also. the screen is starting to have half circle or look bent also on top and bottom...


Ur convergence it dead,Know how to solders?Can buy a convergence kit,replaced what in the kit.Tries websites.Tv repair World.com,Tvrepairkits.com.To repair ur self.Cost u about $300 to repair by the the shop.

My 51 inch Magnavox rear projection has red and green overlapping


the coolant is bad inside the blue and green pix tubes-to verrify this you can remove the front edge of the screen(it pulls off-one edge at a time-take out screws to remove screen-after screen is off look down at blue/green tubes pix is bad or not there

you have a problem on your convergence driver board,either a leaky capacitor, resistor increased in value or a STK ic going bad

Phillips 60in 60pp93/5217 red and green arch at bottom of screen


you need the convergence repair kit which contains both convergence ics and all resistors along with step by step instructions. heres a link to the site that has the repair kit.

Convergence on Projection screen


More than likely the repair company used cheap chips when they did the repair. The cheap ones fail real quick. Goto the site www.TvRepairKits.com. They have built a kit that you can do yourself. It includes name brand chips and a photo instuction guide.

Arch on top and bottom of tv


You can try adjusting the convergence manually, but this is not a good symptom for your TV to have.

This is the convergence amps going bad. You would need some tech experience. But could do it if talked throu.
