Belling oven stopped working

Hi i have a belling compact 3 cooker and recently the oven has stopped working. the grill and hob are fine though. does this mean i need a new element and can i fit it myself, or need a new cooker?

It is most likely the element needs replacing although it could be the oven thermostat.

I would try a new element first, it is not a complicated job to change the element but you need to switch the power off at the wall before you start work.

If you are unsure or in doubt about carrying out the work seek professional help.

We have a belling induction cooker. The trip blew now E5 is flashing on the hob, only two of the hot plates are working and neither of the ovens are working. It's only 2.5 years old.
Unfortunately, Induction hobs on domestic cookers have always been a problem. A single, one ring catering hob is $1,200 and is expected to last 2 years in an industrial environment.

The grill and ovens on my Jackson Topline cooker have just stopped working, the rings work but none of the lights above the switches are on when they are working, any Ideas please? thanks.
I am not familiar with your model of cooker but I assume it is a gas cooker.

Gas cookers have safety devices in the oven and grill the hob rings do not need. I speculate even the domestic oven hasn't escaped the interference from the electronics industry and I expect the aforementioned safety devices depend on (low voltage) electronics and electronics depend on electricity - that the lights aren't working would suggest there is no (low voltage) electricity.

Even in the case of an electric oven the thermostat could be electronic and need (low voltage) electricity to work.

I suspect the internal power supply has failed.

Hi, I have a belling electric oven and separate grill. The two hobs on the left don't work, the grill doesn't work and the front elements in the oven itself has stopped. Is it fixable? Thanks.
Go to the circuit breaker location on your house and locate the one for the oven. Try flipping it on and off a couple of times. If the breaker only supplies 120 volts the heating elements won't work but the light and clock will. If resetting the circuit breaker fixes the problem, it will happen again, so replace the breaker to do a permanent fix.

why would they be trying to light an electric oven ( see which product do you think they mean ) You need to check that the spark being produced is close enough to the gas outlet

ISOLATE THE MAINS POWER BEFORE CHECKING THE APPLIANCE
Run your fingers along the grill element, in this model it is accessible, check for raised areas or small hole or roughness not food burnt, if visible, it should be Black Grey colour at the blemish, you can obtain parts from www.whitegoods.co.uk you will need the model and serial numbers.
The grill elements come out but when unsrewed sometimes the ceramic holders crack, remove element before ordering as you may have to replace the element holders.

the ovens work through the clock auto contacts if the clock not working then the ovens wont. may need a new clock or you can bypass the timer relay contacts if your clever. one of the oven elements may have blown to earth this is the main reason for a clock failing

Zanussi Electric Cooker and Hob don't work properly
it will have nothing to do with the supply, although it does sound as though he could have done a better job. if the appliances are brand new get Zanussi out to it. shame on the guy for not checking that they worked as they should. hope this helps.

My Fischer and Paykel oven won't heat up I have a Fischer and Paykel double oven OB30DDEPX1-88491A The bottom oven will not heat up at all in any mode, but the fan does come on. When I put in broil it turns the light off and on as well. This one went out MONTHS before the top oven started having issues. Roper oven model FEP310GW0. Oven will not heat The oven on my Roper model FEP310GW0 will not heat. I replaced the safety thermostat but that didn't fix it. I checked the bake element and it has continuity. The broil does not. Neither element heats at all. When the control knob is turned the indicator light does not come on. The surface heats just fine.
