Bose accepted TV from iPod one time, now sound only. OK vid on iP

I played a TV video through Bose 3,2,1 in black and white, then changed to NTSC and had fine color and sound. Next night (tried to play Day 2, of Torchwood), would only play sound. iPod to Bose to HP 32 in. HP screen. No idea what happened. Alternate fix was to get a splitter from iPoD mp3 connector direct to red, white, yellow on screen but this will eliminate the Bose sound.

Hello. Push input on your tv remote and run through the menu until you find the setting you had used previously to get the color and sound.

I have purchased the apple component tv cable for my ipod 5th generation but when playing back videos I have only sound - no picture. I have set the Ipod to tv out, PAL (Aust) & connected all the...

Hi, this seems to be a physical failure with your connections and not your TV input configuration (as you're able to listen to your audio). First, try to see if there's an obstruction on your iPod dock (maybe some dirt or dust) and on your AV cable. As the video travels through different pins than the USB or power, you may've not noticed the failure until now. Sony Bravia TVs are all built in the same factory, so they can easily change from NTSC and PAL, try going to your settings and change the TV out to NTSC. If everything else fails, take it to your Apple Store, they'll be more than happy to test it for you and if it's broken, replace it for a working one.

Dvd is showing black and white

You are running in the wrong format.
If you are in the USA then you need to set the Bose system to NTSC. If you are in another part of the globe then set it to PAL.
The other thing is to make sure your TV is set the correct way as well. The only other thing that will cause this is if you are trying to playback a PAL dvd on an NTSC system (and the other way around of course)
All the options you need will be in the setup menus for both the TV and Bose.
Hope that helps
That should solve your problems.

Black and White images Only

Go to the menu system and change your system from NTSC to PAL, or vice versa. Instructions for this are on p.39 of the manual.

Can only get black and white images when playing DVD's

Check your settings - video format. It should be NTSC for USA standard. If it is set to European (PAL) it will be in black & white. Hope this helps.
