My htc p3450 is not connecting with pc i have cable and active sync

uninstall the active sync software from the computer and download the lastest active sync software (as per your windows version) and install it, this should solve your problem.

In order to connect your phone please use the cable that comes with the phone , and you also need to install the software from the CD that you go it with the phone , the software name is active sync
once you installed the software connect the phone and open the active sync application and then you can access your phone on PC .

go to microsoft site just download microsoft active sync 4.5 it will connect your pc with htc .

Download microsoft active sync 4.5 for xp or windows mobile device center ( WMDC ) from the MS official site, install it on your pc, restart , in your touch - active sync- connections-check allow usb connections,then just connect it to your pc with the usb cable.Done.Hope this helps.

if you are using XP,install ACTIVE SYNC 4.5. if you are using VISTA or WINDOWS 7, no need any sync software. plug in the HTC to your laptop. right click on MY COMPUTER and select MANAGE. in the window that appears now, on the left hand side select DEVICE MANAGER. now on the right hand side see if you have any yellow colour icons. if YES,try to update the drivers. if nothing works out, try another PHONE to connect and use your phone to connect to another laptop. atleast this will give some idea as where the problem lies
