1st try to check if your video driver is installed and working good.

right click "My computer" select properties
choose "Device Manager" then left click mouse

from the Display list check "Video" if there's a yellow mark warning with question mark (?) it means that your video driver is not installed. You'll be needing to download a video driver and install if this warning appear.

if no warning proceed to next step.

2) go to "Start" select "Control Panel" then enter
choose "Display" (icon having a LCD monitor)then press enter
from the list choose "Setting" then change value of screen resolution to

1280X800 pixels. or 1280X760 pixels

note: display setting will change as well as icons and it will ask you if you'll save the setting you made. just press ok if your satisfied with the icon size you see in the monitor.

cheers,
mark

What is the OS??

Right click on the desktop and click on "Properties", "seettings" and set screen resolution to at least 1024 X 768 for LCD monitor or 800 X 600 for CRT monitors.

If they are set to those then there may be a prob with video driver.

Need more in depth explaination.

Alcatel One Touchdriver alcatel

When you take a picture on that phone, I guess you know that the object should be facing the back of the phone. That being said, when you take a picture there is a new icon at the bottom right corner. Touch the icon on icons and your pictures will open up on your screen. You can sort your pictures out buy touching the 3 dots icon on the top right corner of the picture screen.

Power on but no picture and sound

Shine a flashlight on the dark screen to see if you barelysee the icons on the desktop. If so, then the LCD Inverter is bad.

Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can beany kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vgacable to connect to your computer's vga port. If so that proves yourvideo card is ok. The video will show on most systems when you rebootwithout you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN(Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correctkey for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key willnormally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

If you see no icons by shinning a flash light and the external monitor works, then your screen is bad. If you see no icons by shinning the flash lightand nothing shows on the external monitor, then most likely your video card isbad.

My screen of computer is so big the contents are enlarged my kid has pressed some buttons pls help

Hi nayyarshelly,

I like to help you regarding your concern having big Icons on your desktop, you mentioned that your kid accidentally pressed something on the machine that made everything big, See steps below to changes the Icons or your systems desktop settings.

  • First the system should be turned ON and logged in to Windows, I am assuming that you have Windows7 on your computer.
  • On the keyboard Hold down the CTRL button while holding down the CTRL key on the mouse scroll, scroll backwards this should make things smaller again.
  • If the screen on the Internet is also big do the same thing while your Internet Explorer is open this should change the size of the text / pictures anything on the Internet explorer.
  • But if the above does a different function from what you are experiencing then I believe that you are experiencing some changes in the resolution of the screen if everything is Enlarged.
  • Click on Start then on the search bar type in display, a list will show look for Display then click on it to open up the Display window then click on Adjust resolution.
  • The resolution on your screen depends on how big the LCD screen is
  • On the Resolution page you can pretty much check each resolution on the list that will be better to you, then click on Apply lower right then OK to apply settings on this page.
I hope that this will be of help regarding your concern.

Have a nice day,

Desktop screen saver was not full screensize, so i set to maximum setting 200% and now the whole thing is too big and desktop icons way too big to work with, how can I get into system to reset or...

It sounds like you changed your desktop background resolution settings and not the screensaver. Right-click on your desktop on any clear area that doesnt have an icon and if this is WinXP select properties, or if Vista select personalize. Select the settings tab and you should see a screen resolution adjustment slider that will allow you to change your screen rsolution which intur affects the size of all your icons etc. Select the size that suits you. 1080 X 786 is a good place to start. You're probably set to 800 X 600 right now.

My iphone icons are to big for the screen. How do

From the home screen, tap Settings (yeah, if you can find it — but at least they can’t delete that or any built-in application).
From Settings, hit General, then choose Reset.

From the Reset menu, choose Reset Home Screen Layout. When it asks you to confirm, tap the big red Reset Home Screen button.

And you’re done. Your iPhone’s icons will be back to the way Apple ships them
