I have many games but when i open the memory stick there are no games..i eject the card then i put it back, but there's no games at all : (

If it is CFW make sure the ISO/CSO files are in X:/ISO folder and .pbp files in X:/PSP/GAME folder. Another tip backup all your saves/ games data etc from the memory stick. Then on the psp go to System>Format Memory Stick it will delete everything on your psp and make all the file errors be corrected.

I have a sony psp. I have music stored on a small

corrupted data usually means just that corrupted data and usually won't let you play em at all. you may want to retransfer the files again... and after that if that didn't fix the problem reformat the new memory stick.

what you describe should have been fine. files just might have been corrupted from moving over from one to the other. is it for every song or just one? you could try this without the media go. i have an older firmware since i haven't upgraded my psp in awhile... but

1)on the desktop of your pc create a folder called pspmusic. right click on any blank spot on your desktop>go to new>folder> and rename that to pspmusic

2)plug in your psp to your computer like you normally do using the usb cable.

3)on your computer go to my computer and select the drive of your psp. *NOTICE THE DIFFERENT FOLDERS IN THERE AND WRITE THEM DOWN ON PIECE OF PAPER INCASE YOUR BIGGER MEMORY STICK DOESN'T HAVE THEM*

4)go to your music folder and copy everything in that folder to the pspmusic folder you created on your desktop on your pc in step 1.

5)once that done close that window down.
remove your old smaller memory stick from your psp and insert the new bigger one and connect it to your pc in the normal way.

6)go to the drive of the psp and to the music folder (if there isn't a music folder there create one) and open it. what you may want to do here is to delete all things in there or keep as is. just know that if there is a corrupt file in there you'll have the same problem. this is up to you for you can try this again later.

7)now go to the pspmusic folder on your desktop and copy all the music in that folder and bring it over to your music folder on your psp.

8)once everything has transfered over test it out and see if all works

its a bit more hands on than using media go but at least you see what is happening.

if that didn't work you may want to try formatting your new bigger memory stick

PSP not detecting files on a 4gb memory stick PRO Duo

There are certain folders that the PSP puts on the stick when it formats it. Format the new stick on the PSP first. Then, you can transfer you files to it.

Unusable memory

When you reformat a memory stick it creates a trash folder which stores all the data incase you need to use it again. Put your memory stick in your psp then connect your psp via usb to a computer, in the computer view of the momory stick make sure you have the 'view hidden folders' option checked, then delete all folders & files on the stick. Remove the psp from the computer & reformat it again you should find 8gb available again

I want to put music, Movies, and videos on the PSP and dont know how. I want to put my things in my iTunes on the PSP. Can I do that and if so how?

I am not sure how to put them on from iTunes. But to put things on the PSP you need a memory card and either a USB cord to connect the PSP to the USB port in your computer or a SD card reader in your computer. After you have done either of those, you have to plug in either the PSP (with the memory card inserted in the PSP) or the memory card in SD card reader. Once you have done this, a screen should pop up on your computer, asking you how to open the files on the memory card or PSP. Select the one where the picture is a folder (should say browse) and open up the memory card folder. Open up the folder in your computer with the desired files. Highlight the files, right-click on the mouse and select Copy. Then go back to the memory card folder and right click on an open spot and select Paste. This should copy the files over, but, even though they copy over, that does not mean you can acess them through the PSP. That I know of, Microsoft Word files cannot be acessed through the PSP. That seems to be one of the only files unable to be used with the PSP.

I put in a game and the psp system froze i cant turn of!!!

Try to remove the memory card. Reboot the PSP. Also make sure that you save the game files on the correct root folder in PSP.

If PSP will still not boot without the memory card. Bring PSP to Sony Service Center.

But if it boots up without memory card. Try to erase all data on memory card. Thre could be a virus or malware there causing the malfunction.

If it still fails, reset the whole thing and erase everything for a clean start.

Thank you.

Psp illiterate

Yes there is a way. What you will need is a PC, Some form of Memory stick Duo card Reader, And a PSP Compatible Memory stick Duo/Pro Duo.

If you havent already used the memory stick inside the PSP it will not have the correct Formatted file System for use in the PSP. but you can create the file system using your computer.

heres how to do it ! :

1) plug your Memory stick Duo/Pro Duo into the card reader on your computer.
2) open my computer, locate the Memory stick usually found under the "devices with removable storage" area.
3) once inside the memory stick, create 2 seperate folders. One called "PSP" and the other one called "MP_ROOT".
4) Navigate into the "PSP" Folder and create 3 Folders, "MUSIC", "PICTURE" & "VIDEO"
5) Copy & Paste the Necessary files into each Subsequent Sub-Folder within the "PSP" Folder.

Note : The PSP Can only handle Certain File types for Pictures, Music, And Video. i would suggest Navigating to http://psp.about.com/od/hardwarefirmware/p/compformat.htm before you transfer your files to ensure that you are adding files which are Viewable/Readable by The PSP's software.

Hope this helps !?
