Blocked coffee 'spout'

Hi .. my machine seems to have a blockage on one side of the spout where the coffee comes out. One side flows fine and the other side only drips out. I have tried descaling and cleaning as well as a pipe cleaner. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi thanks for the help but I don't know how to remove the piece with the hole and I have tried the steel wire

We removed the spout from our Impressa E8 to clean the interior (one of the spouts was blocked. We are now trying to put it back on. There are two rectangular metal pieces with two holes that go inside the spout cover on the right side and we can't get them to stay on their little nubs as we try to reassemble the spout. Does anyone know what we should do?

I descaled the coffee machine yesterday & it rinsed through O.K. This morning when I switched on it rinsed but no water came out of either spout. I can find no blockage. What can be wrong?

None of your solutions worked. I called Turnpike appliances, and between the shipping, insurance costs and the repair, it is not worth it. I am giving up on this very expensive Krup machine and buy a more reliable one.
Kindly reverse the charges for your advise, it did not help.

I had this problem, and found the solution on a german website. It said: "Bewege den Auslauf beim Spülvorgang/Bezug mal schnell hoch und runter. Sollte das nicht reichen hilft Druckluft (alternativ Fahrradluftpumpe)."
Which means: press the rinsing button, and while the water comes out move the coffee spout quickly up and down. It's simple, but this unblocked the blocked spout for me. Steel wire etc. didn't work for me..

The spout part should unscrew or pop off, they generally screw off. You can also try putting straight vinegar or clr and holding the spout in that to see if it will delime it or at least be able to delime it so that you can unscrew it to clean it.

How do I unblock the coffee spout of the jura 5

My Jura 5 was only pouring coffee from one spout, the other was blocked. I fixed it by removing the cover from the spout (see photo) it clips off with pressure applied to the sides on the dimpled part, then removing the brown reservoir inside after disconnecting the brown tube. Right enough, one side of the reservoir was full of coffee residue. I cleaned this with hot water and a tooth brush before re-assembling it all. The machine now pours perfectly from both spouts.

My Saeco Classico has problem. The pump is working

It sound as though the boiler is blocked by scale. May also be the coffee filter that's blocked. I am not familiar with this machine, but assuming that it's just a manual espresso machine, try running it with the filter handle removed. Any water emerging? If so, the coffee filter cup and/or filter handle outlets may be blocked. If there is only a small flow the boiler is almost certainly blocked with scale and descaling may cure the problem (do the first run with the filter handle off the machine. Next run with it on)

Not dripping coffee on one side

That hole might be blocked, Try removing the spout and checking for obstructions. It is possible that coffee oils have clogged that side of the spout.

Hi your brew unit is blocked. Open the service door and remove the brew unit and wash and rinse under water. Hot is better. The spout on the back side of the brew unit canbe unscrewed and cleaned. This is where most blockages are, Dazza REPAIRER

I have a FrancisFrancis x5 and when I make coffee, the liquid only comes out of one of the two spouts. How can I get the coffee to flow evenly from both? Thanks!

Sounds like the spout or filter is blocked or partially blocked. Or there is just a bluild up of coffee in the bottom of the handle. Either way you should clean all of these parts. Remove the filter from the handle and poke the spouts. Then soak them both in a solution of espersso cleaner and hot water. Rinse thoroughly and inspect. Repeat or scrub if necessary.

The coffee side has started leaking profusely from the top, back of the water area when brewing.

There is a red hose that connects at the back and top of the unit. Make sure the hose has not come undone and also check that the top lid with the holes is not blocked with coffee grounds. However, the most probable problems will be the hose otherwise you will mostly have steam coming out the back.

Hope this helps!
