Ford sony CD3XX stereo HELP the battery went flat!!!

We have a ford sony CD3XX stereo... the battery went flat on the car and we had to put the code back in, it worked fine for a few minutes and then on the display screen it came up with DRIVE FAULT, the cd player stopped working but the radio is working... any ideas please

if the radio came with the car as standard you can go to your ford dealer and give them your registration number of your car and they will get the code for you but it does cost a few quid
