- Unplug the power
- Remove the the range plates
- Lift the front of the range lip gently and not much.
- You will see a cardboard covered piece.
- Pull down the door and unscrew the two front screws where the latch is
- Unscrew the bottom screw below the two front screws.
- look under the range lip and lift up the cardboard case
- use your finger and push the inside of the metal piece within the cardboard case.
- you will hear the latch click which means it has been reset.
Note- it looks confusing, but worth it if you want to save on a tech charging you hundreds of dollars. trust me, they will use the same procedures I just metioned
- Reverse the steps to put your stove back together.
- You may want to cover that clean option on the stove. this is what causes the F9
