Have Samsung UN60JU6500FXZA LED TV 60".The picture now has a white haze on the whole screen and the dark colors are off. It went away for a day and came back. Less than 3 years old. How to fix it?

Hi,
The problem came, went away by itself and came back shows it to be some loose contact between TCON board and panel or on the TCON board itself. Needs close examination.

Hello... The T CON board might be the problem. All T CONs use one half of the circuit to drive one half of the screen, and the other half to drive the other half of the screen. I have seen TVs with the whole screen "white-washed", and the T CON was bad. Of course, there is a possibility that the LCD panel is bad. T CONs are usually inexpensive, so it's worth trying. I hope this helps!

The picture is not clear. It has a red/greenish haze or gloss over the screen which distorts the sharpness. The manual controls do not help. What can I do?

If your TV looks 3D, warped, or distorted it likely has a convergenge problem.
If however it just looks dull, washed out, redish, greenish, or blueish or if it looks like objects on the screen have halos the fluid in the lens has soured.
You can search google for parts or you can get the parts with repair instructions from sites such as www.TvRepairKits.com

The color is distorted on the lower left hand side of the TV, or maybe distorted is not the correct wording. It looks like there is a yellow haze in that corner...

Having trouble with my Samsung television can you help please?

sorry silly girl seen this a hundred times!! The crt socket on the set needs to be carefully taken off and cleaned with wd-40 or tuner wash. its an intermittant connection on the screen contacts and the contacts that bias the grids.. It can be a green haze a blue haze or a red haze. Very common on 3 to 5 year old samsung tvs. Good Luck

Thats usually caused by the front small mirror which gets dusty and the image will get very dull and washed out. Cleaning the small front mirror will restore the clarity and bright colors again. use just a damp cloth with water then dry thoroughly. If you dont know how to gain access to the small mirror up front you can get the service manual for that model emailed from the following link, It has the disassembly instructions.
