SOURCE: spilled liquid on laptop

If you have a systemguard warranty on your laptop better contact Toshiba Techsupport (1800-457-7777) and they will gladly send your unit for depot repair which is free to replace the whoule keyboard. No charges including Shipment and handling.

If you are out of warranty, you can dismantle the laptop KB and spray a contact cleaner on that might fix the issue.

Hope this helps

SOURCE: i spilled tea on my packard bell easynote

Two things to check.
Open the laptop up and re-connect the keyboard connection. It has a locking mechanism so be sure to unlock that first. Also when you're doing that you can see if there's any water (tea) still in there to dry off.
If that doesn't work, then plug in an external keyboard mate, cause the only other way to fix this is to replace the keyboard, the parts to open up the laptop keyboard itself are intricate and it's much too compicated, plus I've never done that (Seeing as that it's all glued together).

Spilled tea on keypad of macbook now it doesn't work

Open laptop and lay on heavy towels with the keyboard facing down, remove charger and main battery, most of the tea should drain out in this position, contact a service centre to assess the motherboard, sooner the better.

Spilled tea on computer 7 repair technician says we need the motherboard

Did you saw the tea entering on the main motherboard? Did it worked after tea spilled in it? Water or any solution which contains water in it, which have short circuit on electronic boards, so it might had been damaged. Other important thing is, the computer motherboard contains microchip which is most likely to get damaged in small presence of small amount of water entering in it. So think twice about the amount of spill and then apply some idea, is the technician giving right diagnose, or you need another tech for this problem?

Got tea on my laptop

As i understand, the system seems to be working fine after the spillage ... there shouldnt be any issues other than the keyboard being sticky .
If the tea had seeped in then it could have fried the Motherboard. However , you could reach HP for support incase of any issues , if you tell them that the tea was spilled on the system then they might not cover the issue under warranty.

My wife spilled tea on her Dell Inspiron 5100. Now when attempt to start up goes to a black screen with blinking cursor and beeps incessantly. What does this mean, and can I fix it?

add milk!
well spilling tea on the keyboard has most likely fritzed the circuit The beeping and blinking, depending on the number of beeps relates to no monitor and no keyboard.wich seems to fit your description of the fault without having to count
As for fixing it yourself? I wouldn't attempt it.. too many levels to wade through and an expensive fix. anyway. cheaper to buy a new one
Try making a claim for a replacement on your home insurance as a fusion claim. ge3t a new laptop. Perhaps the brands that was used at the Olympics that can sustain dropping and water spills. Vario I think it was.
