Tried to play new game, says not enough memory space. I deleted everything and still wont play, help!

You may have an old series console version of the Xbox 360 that only has either 256MB or 512MB of internal memory. You may also have a new series console version of the Xbox 360 that only has 4GB or data storage. For multi-disk games that install one or more disks, you need, at minimum, a 20GB hard drive installed in your console. You will need to invest in a hard drive for your Xbox 360.

I have a 320gb hard drive for my Xbox and when it is inserted it doesn't show on the dashboard for memory devises

In this process your hard drive will be formatted, so back up all files to another hard drive, laptop, or be prepared to lose everything on your hard drive. After you have backed everything up, plug your hard drive into an Xbox 360 then go 'My Xbox/System Settings/Memory.Select 'USB Storage Device/Configure Now' then accept the warning. After the formatting is complete a Performance Warning box will appear, click 'OK.' Now in the 'Storage Devices' screen you should see a new option 'Memory Unit.' This shows that the formatting was successful. Disconnect your hard drive, then connect it to your laptop, load on some media (makes sure the file types are compatible), then reconnect it to your Xbox 360. Your selected media should not appear under 'Portable Device' in the Video/Music/Picture Library.

Xbox 360 deleting profiles and has no storage device

This sound like your hard drive took a ****. But before we count out the Hard drive your BIOS battery may have just died. If your warrenty is still vallid then maybe XBOX can help but if it is out then try replaceing the BIOS battery first. This would be the cheapest way. If you are uncertain what the bios battery looks like it is a flat battery that is about the size of a quarter. After you have replaced the battery and there is still no change then the next thing I would recomend is replaceing you hard drive.

Games won't work

the problem lies within your hard drive. first thing youll have to do is perform a matenince on the hard drive. to perform this you must go into settings, memory, select your hard drive, then enter the following code... LB LB X X RB RB... it will say are you sure you want tot perform this. select yes... when this is done and the games still dont work, you'll have to format your hard drive. and after youve done that and they still dont work, you'll then have to buy a new hard drive
