The manufacturer does not suggest taking it apart. These are the instructions for cleaning: • To clean stroller fabric and seat pad, use a sponge or damp cloth with cold water and mild soap. Air dry only. Do not use harsh household cleaners or bleach to clean stroller. You can downhttp://safety1st.djgusa.com/product_instructions/en/TR144_inst_ES_102209.pdfload the manual here:
• Restraint and crotch straps should be surface washed and air dried only. Do not place in washing machine or dryer.
most fabrics are attached to the frame with small screws
take a close look how your fabric are attached. take it off.
you can wash it in the waching maschine on low teprature and with soft washing powder
do not tuble dry, but dry on air
attach the fabrics again.
I've done a lot of research and, if you want to replace the fabric on the stroller, you will have to do it yourself. I would suggest taking the stroller to a reputable seamstress. I do this type of work so I am speaking from experience. A good seamstress will be able to match the type of fabric, remove the old to make a pattern, and then make and install the new one.
I took mine off completely like 10 mins to take off and 45 mins to put back on but mine looks great now!! Throw it in the washer on cold delicate then air dry. Does NO damage to the fabric.
I have been advised that the fabrics for the Quinny Freestyle XL3
can be removed. They seem to be stitched, but the
very last part is on a D-ring shape piece of metal if you move the
fabric to one side you will see a gap in the D-ring and then you can slide
or manoeuvre the fabric out of this.
you can download the manual here: http://www.safety1st.com/instructions/. Basically, the easiest way is to put the back in, then start at the bottom and work your way up.
This is an unfortunate occurance! The integrity of the stroller's fabric seams is extremely important: especuially if you plan to use your stroller for a long period of time. The best solution is to contact baby jogger directly. They are usually pretty good about taking care of such issues. You can contact them by visiting their contact page located at : http://babyjogger.com/contact.htm
how do you take off the fabric to wash it?
