full, as in 100% full, there is no such thing. you need to post full mobo model # or learn to post name of real HP PC model fully. my guess you lost the PC case,? some how>? why must have guess what you are attempting?
Google shows not such thing as a asterope 06 zero hits. here is wild guess by me.
I have only purchased one and that PC build is still running at a friend's house (11 years). I suggest that you go the following URL (Newegg) and peruse the reviews of recent consumer experience:
Have you tried to install modern OS and run windows 98 in virtualbox or vmware? Virtualbox is software that is able to emulate os. This is only emulation and every function of os is not available, but core functionality is reserved, like running different apps.
if your replacing mobo's (motherboards) and if it fits, yes, HP is just the brand name, they use several different mobo's, if the mobo you want to switch out fits in the HP case then go for it
Asus products are garbage. I am aware of at least (3) customers who had requested repairs for Asus products, according to the terms of warranty. The customers have complained that after shipping the faulty equipment to Asus repair center, Asus personnel cause physical damage and then refused to repair the original problem. I know of one customer who had recently filed a complaint with Indiana's Attorney General, regarding these activities.
I advise that you stay away from Asus products entirely
The MS-7254 motherboard was custom made by MSI for HP and shipped with the HP DX2200 desktop. Because it was custom made for HP it is not listed on the MSI site.
Here is a link to the support page for the DX2200 on HP's web site. You will most of the boards specs there. Click Here
