I just installed Windows XP Professional on my eMachines W3507, and there is no sound whatsoever.. does anyone know of any websites where i can download the drivers needed?

what make is your pc and what is the sound card make you can do the following for windows xp go to start>right click my computer>click properties>click hardware tab>then click device manager >scroll down until you see the sound driver icon see what make it is right click and hit update my driver or go to manufactuers website to downlaod it hope this helps

if your pc does not have audio there are usally only two reasons 1) bad sound driver 2) BAD sound card. youcan go to the manufacturers web site to download the latest driver for your machine if that doesnt work try windows update. Sometimes Windows update has hardware updates.If that fails buy a new sound card.

Another option is to purchase an Win Xp disk.
