Connect you MP3 player to your Computer/Laptop and see if you have any .MP3 or .WMA music files: if you have none, or the files format/encoding are not compatible, the player will say 'file not found' !
In any case, try resetting your MP3 player (look in your manual, but it is usually hold the software controlled on/off button in the OFF position for 15+ seconds before releasing it to the neutral position).
