Duet washer leaks during use; rinse cycle?

Hi. My Duet washer, purchased in November 2006, has leaked sometime during the cycle during several of the past few loads. I think it's during the rinse cycle. Any thoughts?

Mine has been leaking during the rinse cycle as well. It looks like the gasket seal may have cracks in it, what could be the cause of this?

Your link for an email address goes to a Microsoft ad. Is there another option?

  • Super washer Jan 26, 2008

You want me to give everyone on this list my email address? If you are giving me the link to the machine's service manual, I can look that up.

I'm not paranoid. I am only careful about where I post my email. I guess I will have to look elsewhere for a solution.

The problem is the drain... clogged. Getting a plumber today. However, I didn't appreciate the rude comment about being "paranoid". I try to be careful about where I put my email address.

Hi,
I am having the same problem with my Duet and would like to know if you will send me the link? [email protected]
I have found socks in the boot and I thought that solved the problem which was a tip by someone, but my wife says its still is leaking from time to time. Would like to see what this entails on the change and the cost of the seal. Thanks for help in advance.

Duet washer leaks during use; rinse cycle?

Check the water pump hose connections and the water pumps housing bolts themselves could have loosened from vibration. more likely the hose connections on the pump itself though. Hope this helps.

Water has started pouring out from under my washer

Hello, you've indicated this problem only arrises during the rinse cycle, is that correct ? The leak doesn't occur during the wash cycle initial fill level ? I want to distinguish the difference because there has been a repair tip issued by whirlpool for the duet and sport washer's. This may be applicable to your machine. If it is indeed only during the rinse, the problem is within the door assembly. Specifically the glass and it's "seat" to the frame. Let me know, I'll watch for your reply. macmarkus :)

Whirpool Duet Sport Washer still making noise now it s leaking

make sure to look really close all it takes is alittle whole in that seal anywhere to cause a leak try to look close while it is running but first dry everything you can and then run it. also make sure your door glass is clean if it is leaking down the front just alittle dirt or hair can cause a leak aswell
