This sometimes happens when you've pressed DVD or another input on the LG remote. Press TV and it should work again. If you want your Sky remote to adjust the TVs volume you'll need to enter a code. See here www.satelliteonline.co.uk/sky_remote_codes.htm

Hope that helps...

Volume does not stay level it increases by it stself

This is not a fault with its remote control. The main board to your TV should be checked. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get more details, check the site linked here.

Remote control sound button wont stop when increasing volume, and input button wont move left or right, just keeps moving faster and faster

The remote might have problems, tries used the manual tv buttons on the sides of the tv,see if the problems is not accuring. If it is the remote control only, the remote CPU chip control everythings,it not repairable most of the time.Try website like Remotes.com to buy a an original remote for the replacement.

Having connected up my PVR915OT I am unable to increase the volume on the TV to a reasonable level of volume using the Humax handset- can you offer a solution please?

As far as I recall, the volume control on the PVR remote only controls the volume from the PVR. So, select the volume fully up (using the PVR remote) then increase the volume on the TV (using the TV remote) until it's as loud as you can stand. You can then adjust (decrease) the the volume to suit using the PVR remote.

Volume increases on its own intermittently

When the volume increased did the display show it doing so as if someone was turning the knob?  I mean did the volume go from like level 15 to 30 or did the unit's level stay constant while the audio volume increased?
Were you alone or sharing the room with a jokester who has a universal remote?
Does this problem occur when the batteries are removed from your remote?
Are you sure the 'volume up' button on the unit itself is disengaging properly after being pressed?
