The simplest solution maybe just so simple... just a suggestion try unpluging the power connector to the motherboard then just press the power button to clear and shorted circuit and grounds then replug the motherboard power... if still no power try a new power supply.... better buy a new one than more parts will be damaged if you got a broken power supply.... how to check your power supply??? plug the power cord then use a hair pin to plug the red wire (wire in the middle) the just plug the other end to any black wire... if the fan of you power supply works your power supply still good to go... use some tester for the voltage values of wires...

Hi
First, try hooking it up to an external monitor if you have access to one.Unfortunately,we need video to start checking for what may be wrong.
Try the monitor and post back to let me know what happens, and if it shows on the external display we can start looking at potential problems and fixes.

ok ..I dont know exactly the problem that you have ...but I am link-ing you to the site where you will find all drivers for your model ... so ..if you are running windows vista ....just go to control panel and uninstall the driver from remove programs .... then you either install the new driver ...and after that run the wizard from add new hardware ...or it will prompt you for a driver after you uninstall the old one ...I dont know if its a build in or not web cam ...anyway the procedure is the same ...you will be also be prompt for restart pav dv6000 drivers

if it is still under warrenty, take it back to the place that you brought from along with the recept and the warrenty card, and you should get another one for free. if you dont tell them that you will take them to consumer affairs cause customers come first everytime.

are you installed the some kind of software before freeze?, i mean, when you use it, you install the another application. if you do, then perhaps that application caused the problem. if not, then the problem is in the hardware driver. freeze problem mostly caused by unstable driver or software. make sure driver or software that you are installed into your operating system is stable or compatible.
