How to make sony dav-s300 dvd player multi region

I have a Sony DAV-S300 home theater system dvd player which i want to make multiregion. At the moment it is only playing dvd's from UK. Does any one has a solution?

after loading dvd the display shows "reading" forone to two minutes and then shows can not play.

HOW DO I GO IN TO ENGINEERING SET UP MOD ON A DAV S300 SONY DVD PLAYER? AS I HAVE PROBLEM WITH THE PLAYER READING STANDARD DVD'S?

I found a posting by Jim on howtomendit.com that tells how to do this on this unit. With the system powered on, hold the muting and stop buttons on the front panel of the system, then turn the volume know about a half-turn. This will get you into the system service menu.

CAN I HOOK THIS UP TO HD TV FEED WITH A PVR

If your PVR has an Optical Output then you will be able to hook that to your SONY DAV-S300. If it does not you will just be able to use the standard analog stereo connections. I included a picture of the Optical port on your SONY DAV-S300.

hi yes it is....
wot u need to do is.....our red and white audio leads go from sky box to dvd box...we then put our dvd player onto video 1 using function button on remote

Tuning radio without remote.plese help....

You need to have remote control to perform tuning for radio because unit has no control buttons to do so.
You can get remote from Sony Accessories. Please write model number DAV-S300 in search box to get result.
