I have a 60" sony XBR that has little blue dots on the screen that are starting to spead?

Hi

Your Blue LCD inside the optical block has been damaged. Not your fault, do not let anybody tell you otherwise.

Contact Sony ASAP and demand an explanation!

Don`t let them just tell you what it will cost to fix, ask them why it broke!

My sony xbr 60 picture turns off and on
No solution for you...but I have the same problem. I also had the green blob problem which sony fixed earlier this year. It happens on an intermittent basis. Screen goes off, standby light blinks green, then comes back on. Its off for maybe 1-2 min.

Blue dots on screen plus ghosting on screen
The optical block is defective. Contact Sony support. Sometimes they will warranty these even after the 1yr warranty has expired. Have your model and serial numbers handy.
