If you are using the A/V cable that comes with the pro or elite unit, the cables that have the red/blue/green in addition to the yellow/red/white, there is a switch on the connector that plugs into the console. This switch has two positions, TV and HDTV. make sure the switch is in the TV position.

My screen is broken but I want to play xbox can i hook up a older TV to the broken screen your TV and play xbox through the broken TV but using the screen of the old TV to play

You'd be much better off just hooking up to the older TV directly instead of trying to run an input on the broken TV and then direct the output through another TV.

You can always find cheap video adapters to connect to the older TV if needed.

XBOX NOW PLAYS IN BLACK AND WHITE WITH OLDER TV DID WORK FINE AND DOES ON NEW HDTV ALL CABLES GOOD NOT SURE WHAT TO DO TO GET COLOR BACK

There is a switch that changes the video cable from SD( for use with older TV's without high definition connectivity) to HD (used for newer HD TV's with high definition.

If your older television is using a composite (yellow) connection for video, make sure the switch is in the SD position and NOT hd.

Have xbox 360....got used,no instruct. book, was hooked to flat screen tv, no longer have flat screen tv, have regular tv hook up game comsole to tv, wont work.....why

If it was hooked to a flat screen it was most likely on high def. There is a switch on the connection to the tv to make it work on a regular defination tv. Just slide the switch over to regular and it should work. Hope this helps.

XBOX 360 Elite RCA video connection problem

On the TV you should have a video, input or mode button. If you press that button while the 360 is on it should pickup the signal. You need to be in video mode instead of cable mode since you are using the red, yellow, white cables. Many TVs have a few video modes so press it wait a few seconds and try again if it does not work. Hope this helps:)

Xbox 360 Elite compatible with 62' Mitsubishi HDTV?

I have it and it works great! For all TVs, the TV have to be on fixed settings on standard, dot-by-dot mapping, noise reduction off. The camera's exposure the same for both side-by-side shots. Just set it on standard and it should work...
