Thermador built-in double ovens p/n SCD 302 TP

I need to replace the upper oven door latch (when selecting self clean, the latch will not pull the door completely closed). I am looking for disassembly instructions to be able to install the new switch assembly.

1960s GE P7 Built-in Double Oven (Self Cleaning Upper Oven): How do I get my oven open after Self Cleaning, if I've followed the Directions, but is still locked?

The Self Cleaning cycle should NEVER be used. It will break the oven once you have used it a few times. It also burns out elements, fans, electronic control boards and LATCHES. The 650'F heat is just too hostile. You need a service engineer to remove the oven and replace the latch.

Please always include full MAKE and MODEL in ALL questions. Two weeks ago we had a similar issue with an oven that had a manual sliding latch. I found the manual for it, and a parts schematic.

I can't open my oven

Some ovens have a latch that must be locked for self-cleaning. Look at top of oven door and see if you have a sliding latch. Try to move it back to the left to unlock.

On self clean mode with thermador single oven showing f52

F52 means your upper oven door latch is acting up.

This means that the upper oven door is not in the correct position; check it or replace the upper oven door latch assembly for fixed.

I hope helps.

Thermador SC302T clicking noise, locked door after power outage

iodine, open the upper oven, look thru the grill below the control panel on the right side and there is your model number. The issue here is that when the power came back on the oven run thru a test and your lower lock motor has failed. It will need to be replaced. Yes the only way to stop this is to shut off the breaker.
