I have a uniden bearcat 100 channel 12 band and i dont know how to program channels
HI again, the 248 is only a 50 channel, do you need this info for the 860? If so, I answered in your other post, but here it is again.
Hi tina33, I have an 860 scanner, and this is how I do it. If there is
no freq's in there yet, start on channel 1 and punch in the freq- hit E
and it will enter it into the first channel. Hit manual to go to ch 2
and repeat. If you need freq's for your area, go here and search out
your state and county and it'll give you a list of freq's for your
county. You do not have to add the weather channels as their in there
already, just hit the weather button. I use an external antenna on mine
as it extends the range and allows me to pick up the cars as well.

If you need a book for your scanner, you can get one here, just print it out.
