Question about Hoover U6437-900 / U6439-900 Windtunnel Bagged Upright Vacuum
Take off the bottom plate, then look to see if there 2 screws holding the top cover on, there is a slot on each side of the top cover (from the bottom). Using a flat bladed screwdriver, put the belt in the slot and pry up to release the locking tabs. Watch out for the knob, it will come off when you tak the cover off. Put the belt on the brush roll, then feed it thru the slot and attach it around the motor shaft. Then put back together.
